Thinking About Later
Human lives may be divergent in many ways, but the one thing that makes them all related is time. If there is one thing that every human has, its time. The difference in human beings, between the accomplished ones, and the vegetables, is the way in which they spend their time. There are two ways to live life: Pay now play later, or play now and play later. It is possible to switch in between the two, but important to realize that the most successful people spend most of their time living in the first way.The trend of success works in the form of a table, almost like a proportional pie chart. There is a proportion between the amount of invested time and the significance of our achievements. This proportion is simple: the more time spent on a goal, the more significant our achievement. The reason most humans only end up achieving petty things is because they spend their time trying to achieve short term goals. In order to achieve great success it is necessary to develop a vision, coming up with a set of short term goals that will be linked to a long term goal. This has everything to do with money. Your homework is to develop the perspective to make the connection.

What its Not
There is a great saying, it is often said - maybe even overused. This saying
is "money cannot buy happiness. This saying is absolutely true. I find it
really sad that people are starting to believe otherwise, saying the contrary.
The saying more money more problems definitely applies to these people.
Newsflash! Rich Dad poor dad is not about happiness!.Happiness, is tied to goals, not to people or to money. When one of these goals happens to be making money, then there are ways to go about it. Making money does not bring happiness, achieving the goal of making money brings happiness, there is a difference, it is merely a goal. The average person happens to make making money their lifetime goal, and when they go about it in the wrong way then they are unhappy. The reason they do not attain this goal is because they do not possess or develop the necessary traits to achieve it. The book gives insight on what to focus on in order to achieve the goal of making money.
If making money is not one of your goals, if being financially affluent is not one of your goals, then you are one of the following two things for reading this blog. Number one: if making money is not one of your goals then you are hypocrite for reading this blog, your lying to yourself (which is not going to get you anywhere). Number two: you are a well-rounded person who wants to see the perspectives of aspiring money makers. If you are convinced you were convinced that you were the first one, and then felt comforted when you saw the second choice, you're still hypocrite and you should consider being truthful with yourself in order to progress.
If your financial goal is to be affluent, then there are certain things you should know. We often get mislead by banks, greedy entrepreneurs and even kinfolk such as parents and friends. Definitely the most important thing a person should know is the notion of assets and liabilities. Learning this notion can take years, a person can be taught this notion at business school, but yet still not understand it. Rich dad poor dad explains this notion in a very simplistic and understandable manner. There are many things that are said in the book, I will leave you with only one of these gifts.
“if you think that your house is the most important investment, then you will be stuck in the rat race for the rest of your life”.

Getting Rich
Money makes the world go round. In actuality is more like: up down and side to side. The money cycle is no longer just a circle, it a complex web, that belongs to those who understand it. If the economy was a computer, the poor would be the micro chips, the middle class would be the big hardware and the rich would be the software. The rich like software, are the ones that make the financial connections, they put the hardware to use making this big economic computer function.
It is with no doubt that every individual is an essential part of the system, but the mere fact is that some parts get more recognized than others. Hardly anyone thinks about the Intel core i7 processor that runs through their apple computer, but they praise the Macintosh operating system. It is easy to create hardware, but much harder to create software. The question is: how does one embark on the process to becoming this software, a rich man?
First and foremost, it is a continuous process. Robert Kiyosaki says: "Whenever somebody asks how they can get rich quickly, i simply do not reply". There is no way to get rich quickly. There are steps that a business man has to go through in order to achieve wealth. It takes patience and sacrifice, perseverance.
A wealthy man, is not someone who makes a lot of money. "Wealth is not how much money a person has, its how much money a person is able to keep". Athletes that make millions during their career and lose it all, are not wealthy. A person is not wealthy when they are living off a bank loan, paying off their Mercedes' their houses and other luxuries. A person is wealthy when their money is working for them, when they do not need to pay off luxuries because their assets are making revenue for them. To get rich, one must learn the notion of assets and liabilities.
To find out how to embark on this timely but rewarding process, and to learn the notion of assets and liabilities, pick up Rich Dad Poor Dad.

Economy Comfort, or business class?

Little Jimmy and Bob are children that have taken interest in the art of making money.
It is common for children to come to an epiphany that money runs the world. It is also common for these newly enlightened children to embark on all sorts of crazy "business ventures" to try and make money. After a while though, they give up and go back to living the life of normal children, the life of relying on one's parents for pocket money, and of going with the flow. Bob and Jimmy's case is Different from the quintessential "money runs the world" epiphany that children get. The dynamic duo have made it their life goal to make money after having been inspired by their rich Dad. Bob and Jimmy will fail, but they will not stop. This duo will persist, they are hungry to learn from rich dad what they did wrong.
Perseverance is a characteristic that is essential for any large scale achievement. The problem with the middle class is that they do not like to take risks, they want to take the comfortable route, but this route will take them no further than economy comfort (class on a flight). If you've ever achieved anything extraordinary you will know that hard work exercise, and most importantly: failure were part of the process. The difference between a middle class man and the business class is the way in which they deal with failure.
One can say that this is absurd, that the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. This is not true however. A middle class man can get rich. In fact somebody gets added to the wealthy class on a regular basis. The only difference between them and their peers is that they are hungry. It is true that it is hard to move to a higher class. This is because mentalities are handed down. For example: the middle class raises its kids with a middle class mentality and the wealthy raise their kids with the mentality of the wealthy. If you are looking for a rich dad to teach you, pick up this book and your well on your way.

Rich Dad/ Poor Dad
though, where this interaction has a lot to do with money. It is an
unfortunate truth that the only way your voice is going to be heard
amidst these interactions, is if you are keeping afloat financially.
The higher you are in the financial world the more meaningful your
interactions.
There are many mistakes that people make whilst trying to keep afloat,
and this leads them into a miserable cycle in which they are slaves of
money. Being able to identify these mistakes is the difference between
someone who is scraping through, and someone who is abundant in resources.
A rich dad will teach you how to take the path of abundance.
Although the financial prosperity of an individual will be determined
by these few business principles, there are other aspects of
prosperity that will only be learned from poor dad. Poor dad will
teach you principles that will help you to go about your business in
such a way that your conscience is liberated. From poor dad you will
learn common ethics, how to be humane about your proceedings.
Once you've been advised by these two you will be well on your way to
being a succesful and ethical business person. At the end of this you
will know how to: "make money work for you".
You will learn ethics from your parents (your poor dad). But this book will
teach you to be financially prosperous.
